Two months to go.

Having a slight panic.

Am I going to be able to finish?

1.9k swim with a cut off time of 1 hour 10 minutes

90k bike with a cut off time of 5 hours 30 minutes

21k run with a cut off time of 8 hours

 

I am hoping to do the swim in 45 minutes. This leaves 7 hours 15 minutes.

I had plans of doing the bike in 5 hours, 2 hours 15 minutes left.

I can’t do a half marathon in that time, even on fresh legs. And I haven’t taken transitions into account at all.

 

I have got to speed up my cycling. I have several weekends free in April (which was always the plan, to give me a month to analyse where I am with my training and where needs the most work), so I will be concentrating fully on cycling. Spinning, time trials, cycling everywhere. Every minute I can make up on the bike, will give me another minute on the run.
